Dear Friends,
The year has been going by very quickly. The summer weather has been absolutely tremendous to us and we hope that all of you are enjoying it!
Just to recap past events:

NIMDAC Bowling Day was held on August 11, 2002 at Brunswick Zone in Mississauga. The NIMDAC youth and their families seemed to have a fun-filled afternoon of bowling.

The annual Golf Day and CME were held at Bushwood Golf Club on August 25, 2002. Forty-five NIMDAC members participated in the event. After an outstanding score of 82, Dr. Mohinder Angl remained the champion, sharing the lead with Dr. Kuldip Minhas.

Dr RK Bhargava gave a very informative talk on Drug Interactions in Hypertensive patients. Our sincere thanks to him and the Solvay Pharmaceuticals for sponsoring the educational component of this program.
NIMDAC ANNUAL FUNCTION AND CME
This year’s annual function will be held at the Blue Mountain Resort near Collingwood, Ontario. The event will take place on Thanksgiving weekend (October 11 to 13, 2002).
Many of you are familiar with the Blue Mountain Resort and some of you may know that a beautiful new wing called the Grand Georgian has recently been added. Each condominium is absolutely stunning and designed as a Chateau-style room. NIMDAC has reserved a set of beautifully furnished units ranging from Bachelor suites to one and two bedroom condos at a special conference rate. The rates, including taxes are $122.08, $ 161.28 and $189.28, per night. We request that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. The deadline for room reservation is September 15, 2002. Again, we sincerely apologize for the short notice, but we hope all of you will be able to make the deadline.

We have planned a weekend full of great educational and cultural program. This will be a great opportunity to celebrate the Thanksgiving weekend with families and friends. It will be full of entertainment. We need your active participation. All are encouraged to show their talent at the Cultural Show. We look forward to seeing you there. Please pass this information on to your friends who may not be on our mailing list and invite them to come along for the fun.
