India Earth Quake Relief Fund

We thank every NIMDAC member and non-member from the bottom of our heart for his or her contribution to the earthquake victims in India. We are sure it will be well appreciated by the people in India. We had an overwhelming response. The total amount of more than $11,000.00 was presented to the Canadian Red Cross on February 23, 2001.  This event was broadcasted on Rogers Cable on the following Monday, February 26, 2001.  The local newspaper “Oshawa This Week” also published it on March 2, 2001. We would especially like to thank Dr. K. Billing, Dr. K. Minhas and Dr. J. Chopra for their efforts in this great cause.
