We wish you all a Merry Xmas and a very Happy New Year. This time of the year we all rejoice our accomplishments and give the valuable time to our families and loving children. This is reminiscent of those days which most of us remember spending it with our loved ones back home. We have gradually adopted Canada as our homeland and are now every one of us can be proud of our personal achievements. We, the executive committee of NIMDAC are thankful to all of you to be the part of this family which is growing bigger and bigger. We congratulate all of you for your personal achievements and wish you and yours all the best in the coming New Year. We need your continuous support to achieve new heights and we assure you to bring the best to you both socially and academically.

 

Annual Meeting Goto minutes of meeting

The annual meeting this year took place on Nov.10-12 at Muskoka Sands. The meeting was once again a great success as about 150 people attended it. Friday night, Mr. Ranbir Chauhan and his troupe entertained the members and the guests with live music. The tennis tournament took place on Saturday morning. The winners of this year’s tennis tournament are Dr. Rajesh Jaidka (men), Sukhi Sehgal (women), Tanya Sehgal and Justin Chopra (teenager), Manish Ralh and Gagan Rana (children). The runner-ups are Dr. Ranjit Rana (Men), Mrs. Kimi Chopra (women), Archana Jaidka and Kulchandan Singh Sidhu (teenager), Divya Markandey and Sahil Gupta (children). Saturday afternoon was the educational event for the members while the spouses and the children enjoyed the beautiful Muskoka Sands and its surroundings. The children entertained everyone on Saturday evening with their lively performances. The annual general body meeting took place on Sunday morning.

Dr. Jagdish Chopra was unanimously elected the General Secretary-Elect for the year 2001. Dr. Kuldip Minhas is the General Secretary for the year 2001. He has put forward his plans for the coming year. Those of you, who don’t know him well, will get to know his enthusiasm and strengths very well this year. He has already started working on his plans and needs your full support.
